Wisper Trails

Premium hiking in the Wisper Taunus is a LEADER-funded project in the Rheingau and Taunus regions. Today, the Wisper Trails, located in a particularly sparsely populated, forest-rich and natural area along the Wisper River, serve as the connecting element between the two UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Upper Middle Rhine Valley and the Upper Germanic-Rhaetian Limes. With the 44 km-long Wisper Taunus Trail and 15 circular hiking routes, a total of 217 km of premium hiking trails are waiting to be discovered by you.
